~ The Family Room ~

The Family Room area connects to the living room via a wide hallway. There is a six foot closet located here. Half of this closet has wire racks for organized storage. A third house entry door is here, too.

This hallway is wide enough to accommodate a bookshelf.

This hallway and space was added onto the house in 2004 along with the Master Suite. The family room itself measures 18'9" x 13'10" - not including the hallway.

The flooring in this room is called Fiber Floor (by Tarkett) and matches the real wood grain of the tongue and groove ceiling as well as the solid pine doors and trim in this area of the house. It's like a laminate but much more flexible.

Two large windows bring light and openness to this room.

With two large windows, lights on a dimmer switch and an entrance door, this space could be used for just about anything from working to entertaining.

This space, combined with the Master Suite, could be an apartment or a nightly rental with few modifications. It is easily sectioned off from the rest of the house.
